North Tonawanda native Stephen Pochatko will enter his third year as an assistant coach for the Golden Griffins Swimming and Diving team. Pochatko, a 2012 graduate from Canisius, was a swimmer for the Griffs from 2008-2012, breaking multiple school records during that time. Stephen was also a MAAC Champion in the 100-yard backstroke during his senior season (2012). 

Stephen swam for the Tonawanda Titans and has been competing in the sport of swimming for over 15 years, including four years of coaching experience.

Stephen, who holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, also earned a Master's Degree in Sports Administration in May of 2016 from Canisius.
