Adriana Bolender is in her third season as the head diving coach for the Canisius swimming and diving program.
A five-year diver at Canisius, Bolender returned to Main Street in 2024. The Youngstown, N.Y., native graduated from Lewiston-Porter in 2018, where she holds the school record in the one-meter dive with a score of 233.7.
During her time on Main Street, Bolender earned bronze medals at the MAAC Championships in back-to-back seasons (2022-23) and was named a four-time Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic honoree. She recorded personal-best scores of 255.98 in the one-meter dive and 248.40 in the three-meter dive.
Bolender graduated from Canisius in 2022 with a degree in childhood and special education. She later earned graduate degrees in teaching English to speakers of other languages and instructional technology and curriculum design. She currently works as a teacher with Buffalo Public Schools.
A competitive diver for 11 years, Bolender brings five years of coaching experience to the program.
