Biography
2005-06: Part of the team's fastest 200 medley (2:01.31) and 200 freestyle (1:50.50) relays. Fastest on the team in the 200 backstroke (2:31.04). Third-fastest on the team in the 100 backstroke (1:11.17) and fourth-fastest in the 50 freestyle (28.02). Took second in 200 backstroke against Binghamton. Member of one first-place and two second-place relays.
2004-05: Member of first-place 200 freestyle relay team against Radford and Old Dominion Oct. 23 with a time of 1:51.07. Member of second-place 200 freestyle relay team against Siena Nov. 6 with a time of 1:50.21. Swam a 34.01 in the 50 back and a 1:12.09 in the 100 back against Saint Peter's Jan. 29. Posted a 1:05.17 in the 100 free and a 2:38.24 in the 200 back against St. Bonaventure Jan. 23. Swam a 28.29 in the 50 free against Buffalo State Oct. 29 and was on first-place relay team in 400 medley relay (4:30.31). Member of first-place 200 free relay team against Iona Dec. 4 with time of 1:52.23.
Before Canisius: Member of Canandaigua Academy league championship squad and only girl on the team. Member of track and field at Canandaigua Academy. Named top-hitter on Monarch Park volleyball team.
Personal: The daughter of Deborah DeGraw. Has two sisters named Connie and Vicki and two brothers named Jonathan and Nicholas. Amanda is an athletic training and physical education major at Canisius.
