Biography

2003: Played in 26 games, with 23 starts at catcher... Missed the first half of the season due to an illness... Threw out six runners in stolen base attempts... Recorded her first collegiate hit against Delaware (2/21).

Before Canisius: Named All-Western New York after her junior and senior seasons... Selected second-team all-state in 2001 and 2002... In field hockey, was All-WNY, all-state and an East Coast All-American selection as a midfielder.

Personal: Tessa is majoring in communications at Canisius... She is the daughter of Nelson and Debbie Paolini... Has two older brothers, Brett and Nicholas... Was also recruited by Cornell, Iowa, Northeastern, Syracuse and Brown.
