Biography

BEFORE CANISIUS
• Four-year letterwinner in softball at Avon Grove High School
• Hit .315 at the plate for her career and threw out 13 attempted base stealers
• Posted a .507 batting average in her senior season
• Was a two-time team captain (2024, 2025)
• Helped Avon Grove win the Ches-Mont championship in 2025
• Was a Second-Team All-Ches-Mont League selection in 2025 and was also named to the all-area team after her senior season.
• Won two varsity letters as a thrower on the Avon Grove track and field team
• Qualified for districts in 2025 in the javelin
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Marie and Chris Sycalik
• Has an older brother, Jared and an older sister, Madison
• A member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society
• Was a four-year honor roll student in high school
• Majoring in animal behavior, ecology and conservation
