2007: Made 27 appearances with 17 starts in the circle for the Griffs. Posted a career-best 10-6 record with a save and a 2.25 ERA in 99.2 innings of action. Went 5-1 with three shutouts and an 0.33 earned run average in seven starts against MAAC opponents en route to being named first team All-MAAC. Was named the MAAC Pitcher of the Week three times. Closed out the regular season with five-straight wins where she allowed three runs on 12 hits to go with 42 strikeouts. For the season, she fanned 99 batters, highlighted by her season-high 11 strikeout effort against Marist April 29. Had a season-high four complete games and tossed two complete-game shutouts (vs. Marist April 29, and at Siena May 5). Tossed 16 scoreless innings over a three-game span, the longest of her career. Opposing teams hit .186 against her.
2006: Led Canisius with a team-best 1.60 earned run average. Appeared in 23 games, making 21 starts after missing most of the 2005 campaign with a knee injury. Posted a 7-6 record in the circle with a save in 105 innings of work. Started the season with two wins after allowing two runs on six hits while fanning 11 in 12 innings of action against Norfolk State and Hampton. Was named the MAAC's Pitcher of the Week March 3. Ranked second on the team with 86 strikeouts. Had a career-high nine strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Buffalo at home..Teams hit just .195 against her.
2005: Made four starts in the circle. Went 1-3, earning her first win of the season at UMBC after allowing three runs in six innings of work. Struck out 12 batters. Went 2-for-4 with her first collegiate home run and double in the team's win at UMBC. Also recorded her first career RBI against UMBC. Missed most of the season with a knee injury.
2004: Appeared in 29 games and made 17 starts. Posted a 5-14 record in 104.1 innings pitched. Came on in relief and picked up her first career save against Rider in the MAAC Championship game. Gave up one run on two hits and fanned two in her first collegiate win at San Diego. Tossed a career-high 9.1 innings in a 7-6 extra inning loss at Robert Morris. Struck out eight batters on two separate occasions (vs. Siena and vs. St. Bonaventure). Also played volleyball at Canisius during the fall of 2004 and was named to the Western New York Invitational All-Tournament Team after posting 11 kills, five assists and 33 digs in three matches.
Before Canisius: Was named the Western New York Pitcher of the Year after her senior season at Lancaster High School. Was also named all-state and first team All-ECIC. Played volleyball at Lancaster High School and won three varsity letters.
Personal: The daughter of David and Doreen Garbacz, Lindsay is majoring in physical education with a minor in health at Canisius. Has three older brothers, Jay, Craig and Steve. Her father played basketball at Canisius.
