2002: Started every game for the Griffs... Tied an eight-year school record for hits in a single season with 62... Led the team with 32 runs scored and 10 stolen bases... Batting average of .373 was second on the team... Showed versatility by starting at five different positions last year... Had season-high four hits against St. Bonaventure (3/15)... Named ECAC Second-Team All-Star... Named First-Team All-MAAC... Named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team... MAAC Player of the Week (5/5).

2001: Played in all 43 games with 38 starts, 33 of which at third base... Was second on the team in stolen bases with 10 swipes... Batted .253 with six RBI.

Before Canisius: Four-year letterwinner at shortstop for North Tonawanda High... All-Western New York Player of the Year in 2000 and All-WNY First-Team selection in 1999 and 2000... Named to First-Team All-Niagara Frontier League in 1998, 1999, 2000... A First-Team All-American Eastern Region selection after the 2000 season... Also lettered in basketball, garnering team MVP honors in 1999 and 2000.

Personal: Majoring in digital media art... Daughter of James and Phyllis Gorczynski... Has one sister, Becky.
