Notes: One of two Canisius players named to the 2005 MAAC Softball Preseason Team.

2004: Named second team All-MAAC after hitting .277 (43-for-155) with seven RBIs and 25 runs scored... Led the team with 17 stolen bases in 21 attempts... Was credited with two steals in three different games (vs. Princeton March 13, at Robert Morris April 9, and at Saint Peter’s April 24)... Played in 49 games and made 47 starts, all in the outfield... Registered 10 multi-hit games... Picked up her first hit as a Golden Griffin in the team’s 4-1 win over Furman in the season opener Feb. 28... Went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a win at Manhattan April 25... Missed three games with an injury from March 25-30.

Before Canisius: Won two letters as an outfielder at Central Arizona... Was named all-league after the 2003 season... Was also named to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team in 2003... Won four varsity letters at Polson High School as an outfielder and was named all-state after the 2001 campaign.

Personal: The daughter of Bob and Sandi Owen, Becky is majoring in business finance at Canisius... Has three siblings, Pat, Melinda and Kevin... Her brother Pat wrestled at the University of Michigan and her sister Melinda is a member of the track and field team at the University of Idaho.
