Biography

2004: Played in 37 games and made 22 starts... Had two hits in the team’s 4-1 win over Buffalo March 25... Went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base in the Griffs’ 7-0 win over St. Bonaventure May 4.

2003: Led the team with 15 RBIs, while batting .229 with a team-best seven doubles... Started 41-of-46 games in right field... Had a team-high four multi-RBI games and seven multi-hit games.

2002: Saw action in 38 games with 23 starts... Hit .194 while collecting four doubles and eight RBIs... Had first collegiate hit against Morgan State (3/8).

Before Canisius: Four-year letterwinner at Clifton High School... Named all-area first team, all-county first team and all-league first team as a senior... Also played soccer, basketball and ran hurdles for indoor track in high school... Was a member of the New Jersey Wildcats summer ASA team.

Personal: The daughter of Robert Gonnello and Vickie Gonzalez, Ashley is a digital media arts major at Canisius... Older Sister Bobbi Jo played softball MAAC rival Marist before graduating in 2003.
