2004: Was named the 2004 MAAC Tournament Most Valuable Player after picking up four wins in two days... Was named All-MAAC First Team after posting a 12-7 record in the regular season... Tossed her first career no-hitter April 24, at Saint Peter’s, then picked up her second career no-hitter May 14, in a win over Manhattan in the MAAC Tournament... Struck out a career-high 238 batters in 179.2 innings pitched... Set a school record with 17 strikeouts in a win over Rider at home May 2... Registered double digit strikeouts in eight games... Her 9.3 strikeouts per seven innings ranked 12th in the country... Started 28 games in the circle for the Griffs, including the team’s last nine games from May 9 at Niagara through May 21, against DePaul in the NCAA Tournament... Her 38 appearances and 28 starts in a single season ranks second all-time in program history... Opponents hit .186 against her in 2004.

2003: Took over reins as the staff’s ace, finishing with team-highs in wins (8), complete games (12) and strikeouts (148) in 130 innings pitched... Held opponents to a .203 batting average... Tied a then career-high with 12 strikeouts in a 2-0 victory over Siena May 4... Named MAAC Pitcher of the Week (April 14) after going 2-1 with a save in four appearances... Posted a 1.94 ERA in 26 appearances... Recorded four 10-strikeout games.

2002: Made 18 appearances and started three games... Posted a 5-1 record while compiling a 1.60 ERA... Tied a school record with six saves... Held opposing batters to a .178 average... Registered 12 strikeouts against Cornell... Started four games as the designated player... Collected first collegiate hit against Towson.

Before Canisius: A four-year letterwinner in softball at Gilroy High School... Was a first team all-league selection after junior and senior seasons... Also lettered in volleyball and basketball at Gilroy... Was a member of the San Jose Strikkers Gold Team in the ASA summer season.

Personal: The daughter of Byron and Sarah Bunten, Andrea is a marketing major at Canisius... Works as a volunteer at soup kitchens in her free time.
