BEFORE CANISIUS
• Earned four varsity letters as a member of the Starpoint High School softball team.
• Named the 2015 Prep Talk Softball Player of the Year by The Buffalo News.
• Led the Spartans to the 2015 Section VI Class A championship and the NYSPHSAA semifinals.
• Went 21-1 with a 0.83 ERA with 250 strikeouts in her senior season.
• Eight of her 21 wins in her senior year were shutouts.
• Also hit .613 with 30 RBI in 2015.
• A two-time All-WNY honoree.
• Honored as the 2014 Niagara Gazette Player of the Year.
• A two-time all-state honoree as well.

PERSONAL
• The daughter of James and Kelly Block.
• Has one sister, Lindsay.
• An "honor roll" student, she was also a member of the National Honor Society.
• Volunteered her free time with Special Olympics.
• Majoring in special education/elementary education at the College.
• Born Dec. 1, 1997 in North Tonawanda, N.Y.
