Before Canisius: Played four seasons at Kenmore East... Named second-team all-league as a junior and senior... Played baseball for the Bulldogs and was named second-team all-league as a senior... Also earned four letters in basketball.

Personal: Majoring in business... The son of Michael and Teresa Cassese... Has two older sisters, who both attended Canisius... Sister, Jessica, played soccer for the Golden Griffins in 1999.
