Biography

2005: Sarted all 17 games he played in and posted nine shots... Helped anchor the back four... Scored a goal in a 2-0 victory over Manhattan in the last contest of the season.

2004: Started all 16 games he played in... Posted nine shots with four on goal... Had two shots on goal against Robert Morris.

2003: Played in all 19 games and started seven... Took six shots... Played in the midfield and on defense... Scored the Griffs’ lone goal in a 1-0 victory at Iona.

Before Canisius: Named all-state and all-county in 2002... Led the Trojans in scoring from 2000-02; they won the state championship in 2001... Named all-county in 2001 and all-division in 2000... Played five seasons of club soccer for SuperNova; team won Y League National Championships in 2000... Won state indoor championships twice.

Personal: Son of Cindy and Randy Blatt and Dave Benz... Majoring in accounting.
