Domenic Gallo was named an assistant athletic trainer in August 2025. He works with the Golden Griffins men’s soccer, rowing and men’s lacrosse programs.
A native of Buffalo, Gallo returns to the Nickel City after serving as an athletic training intern at his alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh. With the Panthers, Gallo served as the main athletic trainer for the women’s soccer program while assisting in the day-to-day operations of the athletic training department.
In addition to his work with the University of Pittsburgh, Gallo provided host athletic training services for student-athletes at Atlantic Coast Conference championship and NCAA Tournament events in multiple sports.
Gallo also worked the University of Pittsburgh’s Gatorade Camps along with stints at Fox Chapel Area High School and Robert Morris University. He also served as an athletic trainer at various AAU basketball tournaments within the greater Pittsburgh region.
A two-time graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Gallo earned both his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in athletic training.
