2001: Started in all 16 games played in the Griffs' backfield... Registered two assists and a team-high nine yellow cards.

2000: Scored first career goal against Niagara (10/5)... Started in all 14 games played at defense.

Before Canisius: Was a two-year letter winner in soccer... Named MVP of the Little Super Cup in 1998... Also a five-year letter winner in basketball... Named team MVP for basketball in 1999 and 2000 and was an All-City selection in 1999 and 2000... Member of the
Metro All-star basketball team in 1999.

Personal: The son of Frank and Cheryl Phillips, Justin is a business management major at Canisius.
