Sam Migliano begins his second season at Canisius after completing a four-year playing career at Ohio State University in 2003. He aids in scouting and on-field coaching, where he works primarily with the defense.
The Buckeyes posted a 37-31-11 record during his career, made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament and won the Big Ten Tournament Championship in 2000. Migliano played in 43 contests and posted three goals, two assists and 24 shots as a defender. He earned academic All-Big Ten honors and was a four-time Ohio State Scholar Athlete.
Migliano earned his bachelor's degree in sport management and leisure studies in 2004. He is working towards his master's degree in sport administration at Canisius.
