Adam Reekie

A former team captain with Canisius, Adam Reekie is in his second season as assistant coach with Canisius men's soccer team.

Reekie rejoined the Griffs after spending two seasons as the head coach of the Louisburg College women's soccer team, where he guided the Lady Hurricanes to a 29-11 record. During his tenure, he mentored the 2008 Region X Player of the Year in addition to seven first-team all-region student-athletes.

Reekie also spent one season as an assistant coach with Lock Haven.

The Griffs' team captain in 2004, Reekie played two seasons for Canisius, starting all 34 games he played in as a defender and midfielder. He also attended Louisburg for two seasons before arriving at Canisius, earning Student-Athlete of the Year honors in 2003 and helping the Hurricanes to two NJCAA National Tournaments.

A native of Folkestone, England, Reekie graduated from Canisius with a bachelor's degree in physical education. He also earned his master's in liberal arts from Lock Haven University.
