2007: Played in 16 games as a freshman, making five starts ... Started his first collegiate game Sept. 28, at Quinnipiac ... Led all Canisius freshen in scoring with two goals ... Scored his first college goal at Niagara in the Griffs’ MAAC opener ... Had a season-high four shots on goal that day as well ... Added a goal to the winning effort over Iona in the MAAC Tournament.

Before Canisius: Played soccer for two seasons at Mount Vernon High School ... Earned first-team all-district honors as a forward for the Yellowjackets ... Also earned two varsity letters playing tennis at Mount Vernon High.

Personal: Born June 30, 1989 ... The son of Stephen and Lucy Brody, Brendan is majoring in political science at Canisius... Has two sisters, Kaitlin and Margaret.
