2013 • Senior Year
• Named MAAC Face-Off Specialist of the Year.
• Placed sixth nationally and first in the MAAC with a .614 faceoff percentage (143-of-233).
• Ranks second in school history by winning 61.4 percent of his restarts.
• Also led the Griffs with 86 ground balls, placing second in the MAAC and 17th in the country with 6.62 ground balls per game.
• Set a school record with 22 faceoff wins (in just 27 attempts) in a win against Binghamton.
• Also added his first collegiate goal and an assist in the 12-11 victory versus the Bearcats.
• Previously set the program’s record with 20 faceoff wins (in 25 attempts) against Albany.
• Claimed 17-of-24 restarts against Jacksonville to go along with a career-best 15 ground balls.
• Won double-digit faceoffs on seven occasions and collected double-digit ground balls four times.
• Also added an assist in a conference win over VMI.

2012 • Junior Year
• Appeared in all 14 games as the team’s main faceoff weapon.
• Won 111-of-216 draws for a .514 winning percentage.
• Ranked third in the MAAC in faceoff winning percentage.
• Recorded double-digit faceoff victories in six games, including the last four contests of the year.
• Won a season-best 14 restarts in 16 attempts in a 7-5 win at Marist, helping the Griffs clinch a spot in the MAAC Tournament in the regular-season finale. The 87.5 winning percentage is the highest by a Griff in nine seasons.
• Won 13-of-20 faceoffs at No. 1 Loyola in the NCAA Tournament.
• Also led the Griffs with 63 ground balls, ranking third in the conference with 4.50 per game.

Before Canisius
• Appeared in three games at the University at Albany during the 2011 season, winning 14-of-28 faceoffs and recording one assist.
• Also spent one year at Monroe Community College, earning NJCAA All-America honors.
• Earned three letters at Orchard Park High School.
• Named to the All-Western New York First Team and All-ECIC Teams.
• Selected to the National Senior Showcase in 2009.

• Son of Mike and Margaret Moran.
• Two brothers, Patrick and Brian, and one sister, Kathleen.
• Majoring in sport management.
