Biography

2007: Played in all 14 games... Named to the All-MAAC Second-Team... Ranked second on the team with career highs in goals (31) and points (35)... Also had a career-high 28 groundballs, which ranked fifth on the team... Had a game-winning goal against Saint Joseph’s April 14... Recorded a goal in 13 of 14 games, including the last 10 of the season... Tied career high with five goals and six points against Saint Joseph’s... Totaled 24 goals during a seven-game stretch... Led Canisius with 22 goals in conference games... Had career-best six groundballs against Siena April 18... Ranked 18th in the country in goals per game... Was fourth in the MAAC in goals per game and sixth in points per game... In MAAC games only, ranked second in goals per game

2006: Started all 15 contests... Ranked second on the team with 26 goals, 11 assists and 37 points... Had two game-winning goals and led team with four man-up goals... Tied for seventh on the team with 23 groundballs... Recorded a point in all but one game... Had a career-high five goals and six points in 12-11 win over Providence April 1... Earned MAAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for that performance... Closed season on an eight-game goal-scoring streak... Had double-digit goals in nine games

2005: Appeared in all 12 games, making three starts... Ranked third with 14 points, second with eight assists and fourth with six goals... Tied for fifth on team with 19 groundballs... Had a career-high three points (one goal, two assists) in win against VMI April 23

Before Canisius: A 2003 and 2004 US Lacrosse High School All-American at Grand Island, Blocho was a four-year letterwinner for the Vikings and a two-time First Team All-Western New York selection... Scored 44 goals and 44 assists in his senior season... Finished high school career with 210 goals and 120 assists... Also earned four letters in football at running back/defensive back at Grand Island... Was a First Team All-New York State, First Team All-WNY and three-time All-Niagara Frontier League pick in football and named the 2003 Buffalo News Player of the Year after rushing for 2,210 yards and 26 touchdowns... Finished with 3,730 yards and 45 touchdowns for the Vikings
