Former Golden Griffin standout and assistant coach for the 2008 MAAC Championship squad, Greg Campbell is in his first season back on the sidelines for the Canisius College men's lacrosse team. Campbell, who is in his third season overall as assistant coach, also spent the 2007 and 2008 seasons with the Griffs.

In his first stint with Canisius, Campbell helped lead the Griffs to their first MAAC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2008 as the team's defensive coordinator. During its run through the MAAC Tournament, Canisius allowed only seven total goals in two games en route to the conference title.

As a player with Canisius, Campbell played in 53 games, recording 99 points, 62 goals and 37 assists. He ranks 15th in the program's history in both career points and career goals and helped lead the Griffs to their first two postseason trips in 2003 and 2004.

Campbell earned a bachelor's degree in history from Canisius in 2004 and his master's of business administration in 2008.
