Brendon Burke, a 2003 graduate of St. Andrew?s College, returns to the Canisius College men?s lacrosse program for his second season as an assistant coach. Burke will take the role of the offensive coordinator for the Griffs, as well as recruiting and the day-to-day operations of the program.
Before coming to Canisius, Burke was the assistant coach at SUNY Cortland, helping the Red Dragons to a 15-3 record and a #2 national ranking in Division III in 2003-04.
A four-year letterwinner at NCAA Division II St. Andrew?s, Burke made one appearance in the NCAA Division II Final Four. In his senior season, Burke scored 11 goals and added seven assists in 13 games with 41 ground balls.
A native of Hamburg, N.Y., Burke attended St. Francis High School and earned his bachelor?s degree in business administration from St. Andrew?s. He is currently enrolled in the Master?s in Sport Administration program at Canisius.
