Biography
2004-05: Was a member of the 800 free relay team that broke the school record with a time of 8:22.43 at the MAAC Championships. Swam a 5:48.14 in the 500 free and a 12:05.00 in the 1,000 free against Saint Peter's (1-29-05). Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
2003-04: Member of third place 400-meter medley relay team at Duquesne (10-11-03) with a time of 4:29.56. Member of first place 400-meter freestyle relay team at Duquesne (10-11-03) with a time of 4:13.36. Member of first place 200-meter freestyle relay team at Loyola (10-18-03) with a time of 1:51.03. Member of third place 200-meter medley team at Loyola (10-18-03) with time of 2:03.59. Member of first place 400-meter freestyle relay team at St. Bonaventure (11-01-03) with a time of 4:03.88. Third place 500-meter freestyle at Niagara (11-08-03) with a time of 5:56.52. Member of second place 400-meter freestyle relay team at Niagara (11-08-03) with a time of 3:57.30.
Before Canisius: Five-year letterwinner in swimming at Kenmore West. Niagara Frontier League Champions in 2000 and 2001. All-Niagara Frontier League as a member of the track team.
Personal: The daughter of Marty and Nancy Smith. Sarah is a finance/economics major at Canisius.
