2004: Ran in every race as a junior for the Griffs... Served as the team’s top finisher at the 18th Annual Running Fit-UDM Invitational with his 31st place finish... His time of 28:24 placed him 114th at the National Catholic Championships in South Bend, Ind... Placed 34th overall for the Blue and Gold at the MAAC Championships event in Orlando, Fla... Was one of five team members to be named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2003: Had a season best 12th place finish at the Orange Classic in Syracuse, N.Y... Placed 44th overall with a time of 26:52 at the Bucknell Invitational... Served as a class officer on the Undergraduate Student Association at Canisius.

2002: Placed seventh overall at the Little Three Championships... Finished the MAAC Championships 75th overall.

Before Canisius: Won two letters in cross country and track and field at St. Joe’s... Was named the Western New York Track Officials Scholar-Athlete as a senior... Named fourth-team all-state as well.

Personal: The son of John and Carol Beyer, John is an accounting and finance major at the College... Lists golf, listening to country music and reading as his hobbies... His father earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree at Canisius... Has a younger brother, Daniel.
