Spring 2002: Came in sixth place in the 400-meter event at the MAAC Outdoor Championships... Placed third in the 400-meter race at the Vielbig Invitational... Was named to the conference’s all-academic team.
Winter 2002: Was named to the MAAC All-Academic team after the indoor season.
Spring 2001: Finished seventh in the 400 at the Syracuse Invitational... Placed fifth in the 400-meter at the Cornell Invitational.
Winter 2001: Finished seventh in the 500-meter at the Kent State Golden Flash Open.
Spring 2000: Placed sixth in the 400-meter at the Bucknell Heptagonal... Scored a third in the 400-meter at the UB Open.
Winter 2000: Finished sixth in the 400-meter at the Colgate Invitational... Scored a third in the 400-meter at the UB Invitational... Finished fourth in the 400-meter at the MAAC Indoor Championships.
Before Canisius: Won the Section III championship in the 300-meter and 600-meter events in outdoor track during her senior year... Won three letters for outdoor track and two letters in indoor track and Cross Country.
Personal: The daughter of Wayne and Sharon Heyer, Jennelle a biology major at Canisius... Chose to attend Canisius after being recruited by Cornell, Marist and Wagner.
