2008
- Competed in four races
- Took 39th at the Duquesne Duals and was 67th (24:41) at the MAAC Championships
- Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second consecutive season
2007
- Raced in four meets for the Blue and Gold
- Named to the 2007 MAAC All Academic Team
- Placed 10th at the Little Three Championships in Buffalo, N.Y. to help Canisius score a first place finish.
2006
- Competed in all six races for the Griffs
- Recorded her career best time of 20:17 and placed 25th at the Seawolves Invitational in Sunken Meadow, N.Y.
- Finished 56th at the UB Stampede Invitational in Buffalo, N.Y.
- Placed 57th at the MAAC Championship in Riverdale, N.Y.
Before Canisius
- Helped East Aurora High School earn the New York State Class B state championship in 2005
- A four-time ECIC all-star, she boasts a personal best time of 19:53
- Won two varsity letters as a member of East Aurora’s track and field team and two letters as a basketball player.
Personal
- The daughter of Steven and Shirley Duane, Ellen is undecided on a major
- Lists running, swimming and reading as her hobbies
- Has two older sisters, Katie and Hannah.
