Biography
2004: Had a season best 15th place finish at the Little Three Championships in East Aurora, N.Y... His time of 30:37 placed him 63rd overall at the MAAC Championship event in Orlando, Fla... Was one of two team members to serve as a representative on the Canisius College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
2003: Ran in six of the team’s seven events... Placed 13th at the Little Three Championships with his time of 31:59... Finished 52nd overall at the Orange Classic in Syracuse, N.Y.
Before Canisius: Won three letters as a member of the Sweet Home High School cross country team and qualified for states during his senior season... Was named an E.C.I.C. second team all-star after his senior campaign as well... Also competed in track and field, winning four letters in outdoor and three in indoor.
Personal: The son of Jack and Karen Syracuse, Dan is a physical education major at Canisius... Has three siblings, Melissa, Amy and Andrew.
