Biography

Before Canisius: Was a five-time state meet qualifier at Weedsport High School... Named the team’s MVP from 2001-05... Was named second-team all-state at the end of the 2005 season as the Warriors placed 12th overall as a team at the state meet... Placed 11th overall at the New York state Class D Championships with her time of 19:53... Also competed for the school’s track and field team where she was a first-team all-league selection in 2001 and 2002.

Personal: The daughter of Dave and Eileen Gibson, Chelsea is majoring in psychology while minoring in sports medicine at Canisius... Was a high honor roll selection every year in high school... Also enjoys competing in down hill ski racing.
