Griff fans - we need your support now, more than ever!

It is no secret that 2020 has challenged us to find new ways to deliver on our promise of supporting our student-athletes. The COVID-19 Pandemic has brought on economic pressures and budget challenges that are unprecedented. As a result, we are incurring expenses to implement new health and safety protocols that are required to operate.  The COVID-19 testing expense that is required for our teams to practice and compete is projected to exceed $250,000 for the 2020-21 year alone. At the same time, we are seeing revenue streams that directly support our 20 varsity programs reduced significantly.

We know this year will be challenging, but our goal to provide the highest-quality experience for our student-athletes remains powerful. With our fall seasons postponed, we are preparing for the opportunity to have all of our teams complete a conference schedule in the spring of 2021.

For years, our program has relied on the generosity of alumni, family and friends to help provide the resources necessary to inspire and allow our student-athletes and coaches to perform at their highest level. Now, the urgency for your support is greater than ever before. We need our supporters to "Come Together" and help us provide a Canisius athletic experience for our student-athletes in this challenging time, while also position our program for future success.
