Lisa Liotta
Associate Director of Athletics/SWA


Lisa LiottaLisa Liotta was named Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator at Canisius by Director of Athletics Bill Maher in October, 2018.

In her role with the Griffs, Liotta works closely with the Canisius coaching and student-services staffs to ensure a quality experience for the College’s 390 student-athletes in competition, in the classroom and within the campus community.

Liotta joined the Golden Griffin athletic department after spending the previous three years as the associate director of athletics for student-athlete welfare and SWA at the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio.



Lindy Feider
Assistant Director Academic Achievement & Student Athlete Support


Feider_Lindy headshot 2021A two-time graduate of Canisius College and a former graduate assistant in the College's Career Center, Lindy Feider is in her second year as the assistant director of academic achievement and student-athlete support services.

Feider returned to Canisius after spending the previous 12 years as an academic advisement counselor and student-athlete support at Medaille College. In that role, she counseled a caseload of more than 200 undergraduate students regarding academic requirements, while also assisting with student registration. The recipient of Medaille's Student Government Association Staff Member of the Year Award in 2017 and 2019, she supervised and trained graduate assistants and undergraduate student staff in the school's Advisement Center.





Sarah Wiard
Academic Support Services Graduate Assistant


Wiard Headshot 2020Sarah Wiard is in her first year as Canisius' academic support services graduate assistant. In this role, she will meet regularly with student-athletes to help with academic progress, while also prepare and distributing weekly study hall reports, progress reports and end of semester reports to coaches and administrators.

Wiard graduated from the University of Kansas in May 2020 with her bachelor's degree in political science and American studies. At Canisius, she is working towards her master's degree in higher education and student affairs administration.
