2005: Named MAAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-MAAC... Led the nation in ground balls with 4.15 a game... Also ranked fifth in the country in draw controls and 10th in caused turnovers... Ranked fifth in the MAAC in goals, third in assists, fourth in points, first in ground balls, first in draw controls and second in caused turnovers... Started all 13 games she played in... Collected 33 goals and 15 assists... Tallied a school-record 10 points (5G, 5A) vs. Iona... Had five goals against Robert Morris... Registered four goals and two assists vs. Gannon.
Before Canisius: Played five seasons for the Kawaratha Club Lacrosse team of the OWL and was named the league's Rookie of the Year in 1999... Served as captain and won gold medals at the Ontario Provincial Championships and the Summer Games... Co-captain of the U-19 Canadian National Team, which finished third at the 2003 World Championships; tallied four goals and 10 assists... Also earned letters in hockey and soccer at Lakefield District Secondary School.
Personal: The daughter of Tang and Phillip Chan... Has one brother, Christopher, and two sisters, Catherine and Caralin... Majoring in physical education... Enjoys boating, photography and mountain biking.
