2002: Finished second on team with 24 points... His 16 goals were tied for second most on team... Picked up 33 ground balls in his 13 games... Won 44 percent of his face-offs... Had six multiple-goal games... Tallied three goals against Butler (3/30).
2001: Played in all 13 games with four starts... Scored eight goals, adding seven assists.
2000: Played in 13 games at midfield with five starts... Was fourth on the team in scoring with 13 points... Netted a goal against Hartford in his first collegiate game (3/4)... Paced Canisius with three goals against Siena (4/16).
Before Canisius: Was Second-Team All-ECIC and All-Western New York as a senior under coach Ed Greenway at Williamsville East High School... Also earned First-Team All-ECIC honors twice... Was also an Honorable Mention All-Western New York soccer player for the Flames.
Personal: The son of Ken and Mary Neward, Rick is a finance major at Canisius.
