Biography

2002 Captain. 2001: Named All-MAAC for the third straight season...Was credited with a team-high 57 ground balls and 58 caused turnovers a season ago...Scored a career-high five goals...Was also selected to the MAAC All-Academic team.

2000: Named All-MAAC...Was MAAC All-Academic... Led the team with 37 ground balls, 32 caused turnovers and nine interceptions despite mising five games with an ankle injury... Chipped in three assists.

1999: Led the team in ground balls with 56... Earned two assists... First Golden Griffin in women's lacrosse to be named All-MAAC...Played in all 14 games.

Before Canisius: MVP for field hockey, lacrosse and basketball at Amherst Central High School...Named All-ECIC for field hockey...Named All-Western New York...Earned All-American Honorable mention for lacrosse.

Personal: The daughter of Robert and Diane Grossman, Kristy is a athletic training and physical education major. Kristy recently won the District II National Athletic Trainers' Association Scholarship and the New York State Athletic Trainer's Association Scholarship, sponsored by the Buffalo Bills.
