Men’s Soccer Falls to Rider in Regular Season Finale

Jack McGeechan's goal in the 66th minute was the difference maker to give Rider a 1-0 win over Canisius Wednesday afternoon in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference men's soccer action from Ben Cohen Field in Lawrenceville, N.J.

With the victory, the Broncs finished the season with a record of 3-8-6 (2-3-5 MAAC) while the Golden Griffins closed out the campaign going 1-10-6 (0-7-3 MAAC).

McGeechan claimed the lone tally of the match at the 65:28 mark in the second half. Mouhamed Diop headed a ball up to Babacar Diene, who dished it into the box for McGeechan to put it past Canisius keeper
William Howard.
