team returns six regular position players, three pitchers and 11 letterwinners
from last year's squad that went 20-21 overall and 7-9 in Metro Atlantic
Athletic Conference play. The Griffs will open the 2012 season Friday, Feb. 10,
when the team takes on Drexel at noon on the first day of the ECU Pirate
Classic in Greenville, N.C.
