O'Connor Breaks School Record in 500-Free

BALTIMORE, Md. - Megan O'Connor broke the Canisius College school record in the 500-free with a time of 5:24.30 this afternoon, but the junior had more in the tank as she broke her own mark with a time of 5:22.57 in the night session at the first day of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at Loyola College.

O'Connor, currently in 11th place, bested the time of 5:24.79 set by Alison Waring in 1995.

The men's 200 free relay team of Jason Zilbauer, Randy Brewer, Jake Harris and Jon Sinski also had a good day as the Griffs are in seventh with a time of 1:36.30.
