Swimming and Diving Downs Buffalo State 144-87

Megan O'Connor won the 200 and 500 freestyle, while Kellie Guth, Sarah Smith, Jen Skladanowski, Teresa Rosetti, Jennifer Twarozek and Melissa Trometer posted first-place finishes as the Canisius swimming and diving team defeated Buffalo State 144-87 Wednesday night.

O'Connor finished the 200 free with a time of 2:08.95 and the 500 free in 5:45.04. Twarozek finished first in the 50 free (26.57) and Smith finished second in the 100 free (1:01.11), while Guth won the 200 individual medley (2:27.79) and took second in the 100 back (1:06.86).

Rosetti placed first in the 100 fly (1:06.05), and Twarozek won the 100 free (56.77). Trometer won the 100 breast (1:14.32), and Skladanowski finished first in the 1-meter diving (162.85) and third on the 3-meter board (157.95). The Griffs also won both relays.
