Meghan Martin enters her second season as part of the Canisius rowing staff. The Melbourne, Fla., native returns to the Blue and Gold after competing with the Griffs for two seasons beginning with the 2012-13 season.

The highlight of Martin's resume as a member of the rowing program came during the 2013 MAAC Championship, when the fromer Golden Griffins rower helped push the squad's second varsity eight to a silver medal in the grand finals at the conference regatta. 

Martin proved to be a standout not only on the water but also as a model example in the classroom, earning two scholar athlete awards from the Collegiate Rowing Association both in 2013 and 2014. 

Following her rowing career at Canisius, Martin began working with Habitat for Humanity as an AmeriCorps National Volunteer Coordinator.
