Worosz Named First-Team All-Atlantic Hockey

BUFFALO, N.Y. ? Canisius College senior goaltender Bryan Worosz (Brantford, Ont.) has been named to the All-Atlantic Hockey First Team as announced today by the conference office. The team was selected by a vote of the league's nine head coaches.

Worosz, was joined by forwards Pierre-Luc O'Brien of Sacred Heart, Tyler McGregor of Holy Cross and Tim Olsen of Connecticut; defensemen Reid Cashman of Quinnipiac and T.J. Kemp of Mercyhurst and fellow netminder Frank Novello of American International.

Worosz, a four-time Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Week and one-time Player of the Week, finished his career as the all-time leader in saves at Canisius with 2,771 stops. He is also the career leader in games played by a goaltender (110), minutes played (6373:09), goals against average (2.82) and ties (16). He was also honored as USCHO/ITECH Division I Defensive Player of the Week and InsideCollegeHockey.com's National Player of the Week after leading the Griffs to a weekend sweep of visiting Connecticut in November.
